Margie
Cook, Coordinator
Margie comes from Sydney in Australia and has been managing
complex election projects for the UN since 2001, working
in Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Cambodia, Afghanistan
and now Kenya. She is a former Director of Public Affairs at the
Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission and
has been a long-time senior political adviser specializing in elections
for the National Nine Television Network in Australia.
She has a long history of work in the media, with NGOs and internationally,
training newly established independent institutions in public affairs
and communications.

Edward
Asitiba, Procurement Officer
Edward is the Procurement Officer at the PMU. He holds
a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Administration, a post
graduate diploma in procurement and materials management and various
on the job trainings locally and internationally. He has 18 years
of work experience in government rising to the position of chief
procurement officer at the Attorney General's Chambers and the Judiciary.
He worked in the Office of the President, and the Ministry of Cooperative
Development. Edward also worked with World Vision's Africa Relief
Office as a regional supply chain coordinator and supported programmes
in Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Uganda, Niger and DRC. He worked for
the UNDP Governance Programme. He is widely travelled and enjoys
reading and spending time with his family.

Tania Mutuku,
Administrative Associate
Tania is the Administrative Associate of the PMU. She provides
administrative and logistical support to the Programme. Tania has
a background in business administration and management and has previously
worked with the National AIDS Control programme as a programme assistant
in the Monitoring and Evaluation Section. Tania enjoys travelling
and reading motivational books.
